A day in the life of a group of Vikings as they march towards the city of Jorvik (York) and invade and settle down to everyday life in the city.

A piece lasting approx. 11 mins takes a march to settlement, a trip down the River Ouse and also includes the descriptive Thor's Hammer.

A great piece for  concert hall or bandstand.
