O Sacred Head is an arrangement of the traditional tune, suitable for a Good Friday band selection or a Sunday morning service.

Although there are 3 percussion parts, a single percussionist could cover enough by playing timpani at the beginning and switching to snare / cymbal before the last section.

This is scored a per The Salvation Army line up so does not have the following parts:

Repiano Cornet, 3rd Cornet or 2nd Baritone
